Since its establishment, the Doctoral Innovation Station of Shengsi County Xiangyuan Aquatic Products Co., Ltd. has launched three research projects, including "Optimization and Application of a Novel Ice-Glazing Technology for Frozen Mussels" and "Monitoring and Risk Assessment of Safety Hazards in Aquatic Products." Jointly with the company, the station has applied for four invention patents and published three related journal articles. A new ice-glazing process for frozen mussels based on synergistic blends of preservatives has been developed, and the functional ice-coating solution has been optimized, effectively improving the frozen-storage quality of mussels and promoting industry–university–research integration. The Doctoral Innovation Station also attaches great importance to cultivating young technological talents, guiding numerous graduate students through technical internships and research assignments within the enterprise.

The 27th China International Fisheries & Seafood Expo will be held from October 30 to November 1, 2024. The company has a total of 73 employees, including 27 technical personnel.
